Book Groups
Nativity has various Book Clubs which meet weekly as well as monthly. The Rector’s Book Group meets Wednesday mornings at 10 am for about 90 minutes and finishes with prayers. If you’d like more info, contact Fr. Scot McComas.
Movies and More
The Nativity Movies and More Group works similarly to a book club. See the movie first, then come join in a dinner discussion of the film. We meet on the first Saturdays of the month at various restaurants at 6 pm. All are welcome. Please RSVP to Darrell Spencer
Jewelry Class
We all have jewelry that we no longer wear but that brings back good memories. Maybe it was from a Grandma, Mom, or Auntie. If you’ve ever thought about updating and/or redesigning that lovely old piece of jewelry, this class could be for you! Lead by our resident jewelry expert, Dawn Kast, you can connect with others while engaging in a creative project. Find out more!
Knitting Group
The Knitting Group welcomes all levels of knitters and crocheters – and we love beginners! We knit hats for the East Valley Men’s Shelter and hats for babies and premies in the hospital. We knit, pray, laugh; not always in that order. Meetings are the first and third Thursdays of the month at 10 am. Contact Mary Ann Rank with questions or for encouragement.
Women’s Luncheon
All women are welcome at our monthly social luncheon! We meet at local restaurants on the third Wednesdays of the month at 12 pm for fun and fellowship. Connect with Janyce Schneider to learn more.
Women’s Wine Night
The women of Nativity are invited to partake in a monthly happy hour on the first Thursday of each month at 5 pm at local restaurants for wine, food, fun & fellowship. For more details contact Kay Blinn.
Men’s Pub Fellowship
The Men’s Pub Fellowship is a gathering of men from all walks of life for the purpose of building fellowship. The group meets on the first Thursday each month. All are welcome. Bring a friend or meet and make new ones! For questions, contact Art Graf.
Ones & Twos Social Fellowship
Ones & Twos is a social group of adults which meets on the second Fridays of each month, except in summer. It is open to all and is a potluck-style gathering in people’s homes. Participants are asked to bring personal libations and shareable victuals! Contact Kathy Wasson for details.
